Why international students in Germany get stuck
German universities expect a lot of independent work with little hand-holding. Seminar papers often carry the whole module grade, deadlines bunch up at the end of semester, and academic writing rules can be very different from what you learned at home.
German grades run from 1.0 (very good) to 4.0 (pass), with 5.0 a fail — so even a small improvement in structure and argument can move your grade noticeably.
What we help with
- Seminar papers (Hausarbeit): research question, outline, literature, argument and formatting.
- Master's thesis: topic, exposé/proposal, literature review, methodology, data analysis and feedback on your chapters.
- Academic English: clarity, tone and grammar for non-native speakers, on text you wrote.
- Referencing: APA, Harvard and your chair's citation guidelines.
- Presentations (Referat): structure, slides and practice.
- Exam preparation for written and oral exams — see university exam prep.
